Founded in Kerkrade, The Netherlands, Urban Planting started as a passion project to make hydroponic systems accessible for everyone. In a region where space is limited and sustainability is key, we saw the need for efficient, water-saving solutions like NFT, DWC, and aeroponics. Today, we serve the entire Benelux area, helping private people and small businesses— from restaurants to campsites—grow their own fresh greens, vegetables, strawberries, micro-greens, and tomatoes. Our journey began with a simple balcony setup, and now we design, build, and install custom hydroponic installations that promote self-sustainable fresh produce.
